— The Origin —

Where

It All Began?

It started with a single table, a handful of passionate athletes, and a belief that arm wrestling in India deserved far more than it was getting. BTR Arm Wrestling League was founded in 2023 by Muhammad Rehan — a Sports Science student and certified Strength & Conditioning coach who had one obsession: building the sport he loved from the ground up.

The first BTR Supermatch was raw, grassroots, and electric. Word spread fast. The second doubled in size. By the third, registrations were selling out. What began as a local gathering became Karnataka’s most talked-about arm wrestling event — and it’s only getting bigger.

“I didn’t start BTR because arm wrestling was popular in India. I started it because it should be.”Muhammad Rehan, Founder, BTR Arm Wrestling League

Today, BTR is the benchmark for arm wrestling in South India. Eight Supermatches. Over 200 athletes. Men’s, Women’s and Junior categories. International-standard judging. A community that trains together, competes together, and grows together.

But this is just the beginning. BTR Supermatch 8 is coming — and the league has its sights set firmly on making Indian arm wrestling a nationally recognised sport.

— What Drives Us —

Mission. Vision.

Purpose.

Our Mission

To build India's most credible, inclusive and high-production arm wrestling league. To give every athlete — beginner or elite — a professional stage to compete on, improve on, and be celebrated on. To grow arm wrestling in India from a niche activity to a mainstream competitive sport.

Our Vision

A future where BTR is synonymous with arm wrestling in India the way the IPL is synonymous with cricket. Where Indian arm wrestlers are competing on the world stage. Where every city has a BTR affiliate event. Where the sport is on national television — and BTR put it there.

Our Purpose

We exist to prove that strength is a sport. That raw power, refined technique and mental fortitude deserve the spotlight. That arm wrestlers are athletes — elite, disciplined, passionate athletes — and that India has world-class ones just waiting for the right platform. BTR is that platform.

— Core Values —

What We Stand for?

01

Authenticity

BTR doesn't pretend. We are what we are — passionate, raw, real. Every event, every pull, every reel is produced with honesty. No fake hype. Just genuine competition and genuine community.

02

Excellence

We hold ourselves and our athletes to the highest standard. Professional judging. International rules. World-class production. We believe if you're going to do something, you do it at the highest level possible.

03

Inclusion

Men, women, juniors, masters — beginners and professionals. Everyone belongs at the BTR table. We built this league to be accessible to every athlete who has the heart to compete, regardless of background or experience.

04

Community

BTR is bigger than any single event. It's a tribe. A network of athletes, coaches, fans, and believers who lift each other up. The relationships forged at the BTR table last long after the competition ends.

05

Growth

We are never satisfied. Every Supermatch is bigger, better, and more impactful than the last. We are on a mission to grow arm wrestling across India, and every event is a step toward that goal.

06

Storytelling

Arm wrestling is more than a sport — it's a story. Every athlete has a journey. Every match has a narrative. BTR captures and shares those stories through world-class production and social-first content.

07

Integrity

Fair competition is non-negotiable. Our judging follows WAF international standards. Our rules are applied consistently. Every athlete at a BTR event knows they will be treated with absolute fairness.

08

Legacy

We are building something that will outlast any single event. BTR's legacy is an India where arm wrestling is a respected, mainstream competitive sport — and a generation of champions who carried it there.
